As Managing Director Strategic Advisory Services at Praetorian, Kabir is responsible for building Praetorian’s client advisory program, focusing on providing strategic advice and guidance to customers to mature their cybersecurity programs. With over 25 years of tactical and strategic experience in cybersecurity risk management, Kabir is passionate about serving our customers and leading Praetorian’s commitment to customer delight, excellence, and innovation in the domain of offensive security. Kabir works closely with our strategic customers to leverage offensive security to help organizations proactively manage cybersecurity risks in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

Kabir is a cybersecurity and technology executive with a focus on driving business focused solutions for solving complex technology challenges including cybersecurity, risk management and operational resilience. Kabir is adept at leading technology, risk management, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. Kabir has worked as a management consultant at PwC and Deloitte, as a security risk management leader at the World Bank, as a business executive at a couple of cybersecurity startups and more recently at Synopsys. Kabir has experience in various industry verticals including federal, state, and local governments, technology, retail, international financial institutions, and banking/insurance. His areas of specialty include third party risk management, cybersecurity risk management, supply chain security, application security and product security.

Kabir earned a BA in Economics and Management of Information Systems from the University of Rochester and an MS in Technology Management and an Executive MBA from the University of Maryland. Kabir also has his CPA, CISA and CRISC certifications and serves routinely on various Boards.
